As we read in this book:
New studies show that what religion is talking about is not homosexuality. This book has investigated all of main religious sources of Abrahamic religions include Judaism, Christianity and Islam. With deep respect to all these religions, in 7 chapters we reviewed all main sources. Before analysing the content of the sources, we have scientifically defined religion and homosexuality. The results showed that what religion talks on and prohibits is not homosexuality but is an exceptional situation when all of the people stop having sex with opposite gender and engage in same sex intercourse and it leads to reproduction stop. Obviously it does not refer to homosexuality because homosexuality is limited to the people who get born with their sexual orientation. So, homosexuality can never be spread. But why homosexual people were categorised among this misconception? It was because of need to population. Society needed population to defend itself in wars and also to produce food for the members. They mistakenly thought tendency to have sex with some one from the same sex can be spread among all men and consequently, reproduction damages.
